Swell Has Arrived 7/31/25 #221

We have very slow summers. But then again Hawaii Summer swells have to travel a long way to get here. Nearly all our South swells come from the Southern Hemisphere That means double the distance. The swell travels well below Tahiti. French Polynesia. Once it hits Tahiti we can get a scale on the size of what it will be when it comes to Hawaii. Tahiti needs to be big. Minimum 15-20ft Faces. The surfline app has a live camera showing Tahiti infamous Teahupoo It hit Tahiti on Monday which is our indicator. Lasted 3 days there. Swell take around 72 hours for us to start seeing it. Like clock work it came in Wednesday afternoon and slowly started building. The peak of the swell was on the second day in Tahiti. Which is 7/31 for us. This Swell got upgraded for us due to the lack of Winds over the ocean. We had light hot wind conditions. Which is basically a perfect thing for a swell traveling. Because it doesn't knock down the size. This wave was a large Backwash that cleaned out so many other riders. The human next to this wave is 6ft tall. The backwash is well above him which means this wave face is close to 20ft. Top to Bottom It is not the prettiest of image but my Art has to show scale.
