Seeing lots of HyperEVM “big opportunity” talk lately.
Citing onchain metrics like daily active wallets, some say everyone’s too focused on Kaito and Infofi and missing the real opportunity.
So I took a long look at HyperEVM myself.
My honest take: one clear positive, mostly negatives.
1. Negatives first:
- Feels like the same old ecosystem playbook over and over.
- Nothing new, nothing exciting
- No killer app, and structurally can’t have one
- HL itself is the spot/perp killer app
- The team that made Hyperliquid work isn’t the one building HyperEVM dapps
2. Positive:
- Hyperliquid
Hyperliquid is genuinely great.
But the HyperEVM eco doesn’t feel compelling at all.
Sure, my view would change if HL actively supports even weaker teams and can somehow lift ecosystem quality. But I’m skeptical subsidies alone can do that.
Compare that to other high-throughput chains where the dapp scene was actually interesting:
- MegaETH's Noise, Euphoria, etc.
MegaETH and HL aren’t chasing the same thing, and they’re delivering value in different ways, but in this space, “attractiveness” matters.
To be clear, my bearish view on Hyperevm likely won’t impact HYPE’s price at all.
Hyperliquid is stronger than any other community right now.
Also, factoring in posts from two KOLs I really respect, I can see why people think Hyperevm is an overlooked airdrop farming play.
But the reason it’s being overlooked is that it’s just not that attractive. Its success will come down to HL’s stance and support.

This week’s Voice of Realm topic is making a “Mira starter pack,” including who to follow.
I got tagged a lot and got many new follows from other communities.
Probably thanks to my Mira Yapper leaderboard rank.
As someone who was a pretty small account not long ago, that really means a lot.
I’ve just been sharing what I love about Mira (its AI verification layer goal, the way it builds community, etc.),
but I feel like I’ve gotten so much in return.
Thanks @Mira_Network @karansirdesai 🫡

Really simple @Yarm_AI explanation + money flow
Kaito Earn model:
1. Project pays Kaito to set up a leaderboard
2. Project airdrops tokens to yappers
3. Money flow: [Project → Kaito & yappers]
Yarm model:
1. Project funds a Yarm reward pool
2. Top yappers get allocation (basically salesmen now)
3. Users deposit via top yappers, paying them a fee
4. Money flow: [Project → Yarm & top yapper ← users]
Kaito really thinks this will work?
Did they already forget about Loud?

wale.moca 🐳9.7. klo 18.46
Yarm just published an article explaining what they are all about.
I read it so you don't have to, here's the TLDR:
1) Essentially, it's about influential voices getting priority access to liquidity opportunities from projects that are launching on yarms (aka priority access to DeFi opportunities).
2) Rewards when followers provide liquidity through yappers allocation.
2) Limited number of accounts on WL for now, they all have an invite to give away.
3) The goal is to earn yarmer points by creating content in certain areas (DeFi, RWA, memecoins, etc).
4) When a project id launched in the DeFi area on yarms, you get priority allocation if you have a high rank in DeFi yarm points.
5) "Overlap Score": Number of top 1k yappers within a project and % of how many of them are yarmers, higher overlap score -> better APY or liquidity allocation.
More yap -> more rewards -> more liquidity -> more mindshare -> more rewards.
Thoughts?

Back in the NFT days, we all said "Diamond Hands."
Today my most respected Sol NFT / Sol meme mentor showed off his Taiyo.
- been staked for 2 years
- $5500 worth of $GP claimable
- $22 daily
Obviously he couldn’t have predicted all the @bonk_fun hype,
but his plays always end up printing in the NFT/meme scene.
He always said: "Never sell your dust"
I miss those days grinding Sol NFT WLs and minting with him every day.
Easily the most fun and most profitable stretch I’ve had.
Anyway, the truest Dia Hands I know.🫡

This is genuinely interesting.
I used to just complain about @KaitoAI's current situation without really thinking about reframing the data to find solutions.
- Too many individual project leaderboards
- Questions about mindshare’s validity as a metric, and also about its algorithm
Below is a table categorizing projects by the average yaps of their top 100 on the 30D leaderboard.
At the simplest level, bigger numbers mean these are projects heavily discussed by the "inner circle ct" of high-yap accounts.
→ You could interpret that as “probably good projects.”
Some random thoughts:
1. The results look pretty reasonable.
2. It’s not just that big accounts mention these projects more. They’re also likely bullish on them.
- Most projects reduce mindshare scores for negative posts
- So you can see those high scores as a sign they’re bullish on the project
3. But the influence of just 1-2 top yappers is huge.
- Top yappers have 10k-30k yaps
- If even one is on a project’s leaderboard, it can boost its score by 100–300 points
- That’s effectively 1–3 whole tiers on the table
- Sure, it can indicate that an insightful person spoke positively about the project, but you still need to account for that when analyzing it
4. Just like mindshare, the yaps mechanism isn’t perfect.
- Combining these two metrics can be risky
- But looking at the results, they actually seem to complement each other pretty well
Anyway, really appreciate you putting together such a fun and solid analysis.
I shouldn’t be fading @megaeth_labs anymore😅

Kaito Leaderboard Strength (v1)
@beast_ico: "Show me the leaderboard and I'll tell you the outcome"
I pulled the 30D Pre-TGE Leaderboards from Kaito and matched the individual accounts' Yaps
The table shows the average Yaps per leaderboard
Higher numbers = Higher signal accounts
Why high signal accounts cover a project:
- the product is good
- the incentive structure is properly designed
- leaderboard criteria are well implemented
These high signal accounts only cover pre-TGE projects if the direct and indirect benefits outweigh the workload and the potential reputational issues (if the TGE disappoints)

Weekends really are the best time to stack yaps.
I posted 8 times yesterday (normally it’s just 1-2), so I woke up to tons of comments.
I’ll take my time going through those before doing anything else.
Also, a few friends asked if my recent posts mean Kaito Earn is over. Nope.
Even beyond the projects I usually cover, there are still teams I think will reward yappers well:
- @anoma: big, well-funded, needs to solve the TGE puzzle
- @OpenledgerHQ: gets today’s marketing trends
- @boundless_xyz: strong narratives in solid areas (zk protocols, RiscZero)
I’m just shifting my focus a bit for now.

Honestly I removed the word “researcher” from my profile.
After reading real researchers’ posts, it felt wrong to describe myself the same way😅
But like you said, I’m still trying to share thoughts confidently, even if they go against the crowd, haven’t happened yet, or are just my own take.
Thanks so much for saying such kind things about me, both on Ethos and here on Twitter.
I really hope one day I can have real, meaningful influence and be even a little helpful to you and FP.
Thanks for always sharing such great research. Always respect.🫡🫶
It was too long for a reply so I made it a QT hehe

I believe that the greatest talent as a researcher is "the confidence to put your opinions out to the public." And this is not something that can be easily acquired. Sometimes you have to engage in disputes with complete strangers, and sometimes you experience the embarrassment of publishing articles with errors. That's why most people either fail to publish their opinion pieces, only show them to friends, or try a few times but give up when they don't receive the expected attention.
However, @jeg6322's case is truly exceptional, as he's a researcher who achieved zero-to-hero growth. Who had fewer than 1k followers before @KaitoAI, is now Top 15 Korean yapper with 14k followes and one of the very few Korean individual researchers.
Could this have been achieved through luck alone? I absolutely don't think so. He provided information faster than anyone else about emerging or small-scale projects that current Korean researchers weren't properly covering, which created perfect synergy with Kaito. When @ethos_network emerged, he penetrated insider groups faster than anyone and achieved a top-tier reputation score, which became the foundation for even faster growth.
In my opinion, EWL's greatest ability is not just research, but his insight into understanding and penetrating how infofi works. I'm really excited to see how he'll grow in the next year.

Yapping about @Mira_Network.
(of course months before there even was a leaderboard🤣)
Currently sitting at #3 on the 3M board, just behind KR King and the founder.
- Only three weeks left in the Voice of Realm content creation event
- Also running a collab with OKX Wallet lately
- Feels like something big is coming soon
This week’s topic is about real incidents caused by AI hallucinations.
Planning a post breaking down which cases Mira’s decentralized verification structure can handle easily and which ones seem harder.
