A casual reminder that this street was built in 2014. Not everything has to be an endless cul-de-sac with the same few shades of homes.

The only two places I can think of that could feasibly need a high-capacity ferry line in the United States are D.C.–Alexandria and Miami–South Beach. Can you think of others?

I was talking to someone yesterday who said that China opens so many subway lines a year that you’ll see a “handful” of transit nerds at the opening of one because it’s so common. Sigh….
