Luci Collectors Event at @ToledoMuseum 🎭 What to Expect: For the Luci collectors in attendance, when you arrive you will gather outside the Great Gallery to check in and as the doors open you will be handed a drink and ushered to your seats in a massive dark room. This is not a “show up casually late” kind of event, but rather one where we can all begin on the same page by gathering around a common story. At 5pm, when everyone is seated, we will begin with a few announcements I'm very excited to share with those in attendance about what's to come for Luci. This will immediately be followed by our screening of @joeyldotcom's incredible Masquerade Documentary. The film is an extremely intimate and raw look into our life, process, and the people around us exclusively screened alongside Masquerade's exhibition. The run time is just over an hour long. As it's a movie, there will of course be popcorn. As the credits roll, the room will light back up, music will fill the Great Gallery, a mess of food and drink will pour in, the bar will open, and for the next several hours you can slip back and forth privately to the Masquerade gallery freely to see the physical of Masquerade, the Masks, the in-depth process, and leave an Observation of your own behind (a reminder to prepare). Rachel and I look forward to meeting and catching up with everyone, and very much look forward to all of you seeing and meeting one another - it’s a remarkable yet sprawling group of people and we’re extremely grateful so many of you are coming out to Toledo to spend the evening with us, this look into our lives, and be part of where we’re headed next. We will send detailed Museum path maps and more details this week.
