Dan Marino: Dan the Man #17

There's no number more iconic to Miami: 13. There are no two colors more symbolic to a city: the teal and orange. No mascot more emblematic to the native waters and ecosystem of a region: dolphins. Combine them all and you get the magic of the "Magic City", conducted by the maestro himself, Dan Marino. He burst onto the scene in the Quarterback class of 1983, was named Rookie of the Year, MVP in '84, and went to the Super Bowl. His stats, stature, and mere presence embodied the city - and here the artist captures the magic with this hyper realistic helmet set to Miami's palm tree laden backdrop.
