I’ve been testing the Perpetuals Agent from @AIWayfinder again - this time I really focused on how it handles limit orders. First thing I tried was simple: place multiple limit orders on the same coin and see if it handles them smoothly. Everything worked fine. Then I wanted to see if there’s any delay when the price hits your limit. So I set a limit order on ETH at $3705 when ETH was trading around $3707. The moment there was a tick down to $3705, I checked my status - and the order was already confirmed as filled. Pretty much immediate execution. So on that front, it’s looking solid. But honestly, that’s still the easy stuff. Placing a single trade or even a couple of manual limit orders is something anyone can do pretty quickly. You don’t really need an agent for that kind of basic task. The real reason you’d want to use the Perpetuals Agent is when you want to place a bunch of different limit orders on multiple coins, each with different price targets. That’s the kind of thing you can’t realistically do manually - at least not without a lot of hassle or missing entries in a volatile market. So for my next test, I set up limit orders on BTC, ETH, Pumpfun, and Fartcoin - each with an order size of $15, and each placed at 10% below the current price at that moment. And yeah… everything went through exactly as expected. That’s really where the agent starts to make sense. Not for the single trades you can punch in yourself in a few seconds, but for when you want to have multiple entries lined up on different assets, ready to go without you sitting there watching every tick. Especially in a volatile market, having something like this running in the background could save a lot of time - and probably help you catch entries you’d otherwise miss.
