Value, rarity, exclusivity, it’s all psychology. Human belief. Most here would transcend crypto and be far happier if you stopped behaving like desperate flippers trying to score a quick $10. There’s a reason 99% of you can’t buy a Rolex or AP at retail: you don’t understand the art of collecting. You claim you want memecoins to proliferate and NFTs to become true collections. But you sabotage your own space. If an artist hands you an epic collection for free and you floor it for $5, you’ve tainted both the creator and the holders. When a meme hits $10M and you instantly dump, outsiders see only desperate gamblers peddling junk. OG Bitcoin memes and elite ETH collections command a premium precisely because early collectors weren’t desperate and shortsighted. If today’s crowd were around in 2012, Bitcoin would’ve died and we’d all still be stuck with fiat. The truth hurts: most won’t ever reach greatness. But the few who step up, who mold themselves in the fire, will own the future. Just know any great project that has seems undervalued is probably because of the holders. The 5-10% that can’t let it break into greatness. I am only making an argument from the angle of perception and creating intangible value out of nothingness. That is art and culture at the end of the day. Many luxury goods have gatekeepers, without them, the masses would dilute greatness into mediocrity.
