New audio footage captured by a passenger onboard the plane reveals what exactly happened, according to the pilot.
"Given his speed ... I don't know how fast they were going, but they were a lot faster than us, I felt it was the safest thing to do to turn behind it," the pilot said.
"So sorry about the aggressive maneuver, it caught me by surprise, this is not normal at all. I don't know why they didn't give us a heads up, because the Air Force base does have radar..."

NEW: A 61-year-old man has sadly passed away after he was sucked into an MRI machine on Long Island.
The man was reportedly wearing a large metal chain and was pulled into the machine.
According to ABC, the man was not a patient but walked into the MRI room while a scan was in progress.
The police say the man was at the hospital with someone else. He was sucked into the machine due to his large metal chain, and later passed away.
"If this was a chain that was wrapped around the neck, I could imagine any kind of strangulation injuries that could happen, asphyxiation, cervical spine injuries if the patient was slammed against the MRI, you know, any kind of blunt force trauma that we can think about could happen," said Dr. Payal Sud.
Authorities are currently investigating.

NEW: The U.S. Embassy in India is warning Indian nationals that they will have their American visas revoked if they commit crimes in the U.S.
The statement comes after bodycam footage was released of a woman who allegedly shoplifted $1,300 from Target in Illinois, as reported by The Independent.
In the footage, the woman was seen begging with officers, claiming she accidentally walked out of the store without paying.
"So basically, we have been watching this girl for four hours. She has taken tons of merchandise..." a store worker said.
"We are getting a total done for you. It will be well over $500 I am sure."
"No. It will be more," the woman bizarrely interjected.
"Committing assault, theft, or burglary in the United States won’t just cause you legal issues – it could lead to your visa being revoked and make you ineligible for future U.S. visas," U.S. Embassy India said in a new statement.
"The United States values law and order and expects foreign visitors to follow all U.S. laws."
