NEW: It appears another hoax has been attempted. Family members of an 82-year-old Chilean man in PA went to the media claiming ICE arrested him while renewing a green card in Philly, that he died in ICE custody, then that he was secretly deported to Guatemala. The story went viral online.
It appears to have been all made up by the family, which has since gone dark and stopped responding to the press. Here's what happened since the story first ran in The Morning Call, an Allentown, PA newspaper.
- Records in Chile show a man with his same name and date of birth died in Chile in 2019.
- Guatemala says they have no record of him being deported to their country.
- DHS says there is no record of him appearing at any green card appointment in the Philly area, and they say ICE never arrested him.
- DHS says they never deported him, and their only record of him entering the US is in 2015 from Chile via the visa waiver program, not an asylum grant from the 1980s as the family claimed.
- His granddaughter claimed he was sick in a Guatemalan hospital with pneumonia after ICE deported him, and that he was traumatized (after first claiming he was dead). A doctor at the hospital she claimed he was at says there is no record of him being there.

NEW: DHS confirms that both of the men in custody for the shooting and attempted robbery of an off duty CBP officer in NYC are Dominican illegal aliens who were caught and released at the border during the Biden administration. DHS says both have active deportation orders, and both were protected by sanctuary policies with ICE detainers ignored on prior arrests.
Miguel Francisco Mora Munez was caught and released at the border in April 2023.
Christhian Aybar-Berroa was caught and released at the border in 2022.
The CBP officer was shot in his face and arm and is recovering.

On the evening of July 19, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection @CBP officer was shot in what looks like an attempted robbery.
The officer, who was off duty at the time, is currently in the hospital in stable condition. One of the alleged perpetrators was an illegal alien with prior arrests for felony 2nd and 3rd degree assault and an order of deportation.
The New York Police Department is currently investigating the incident.

BREAKING: DHS confirms to @FoxNews that ICE just arrested a Mexican illegal alien in the sanctuary city of Chicago who was charged in April w/ concealing the body of a missing Illinois woman in a storage container on his yard for almost 2 months & abusing her corpse. Despite the severity of the charges, Lake County Judge Randie Bruno released him from custody immediately after his first court appearance in April.
I’m told 52-year-old Jose Luis Mendoza-Gonzalez was just found & arrested by ICE at a market in Chicago this afternoon, and he is currently in ICE custody.
Police in Waukegan, IL say they found the body of 37-year-old Megan Bos, who had been reported missing on March 9th, in a container in Mendoza-Gonzalez’s yard in Waukegan in April. Mendoza-Gonzalez was charged with concealing her corpse, abusing it, and obstruction of justice.
DHS says Bos’ corpse had been decapitated and she was found in bleach in the storage container.
DHS statement to FOX via @TriciaOhio:
“It is absolutely repulsive this monster walked free on Illinois’s streets after allegedly committing such a heinous crime. Megan Bos and her family will have justice.”

BREAKING: @FoxNews has learned that LA federal judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong (Biden appointee), has written a tentative decision that sides w/ the ACLU & plaintiffs over the Trump administration & will potentially block DHS from carrying out arrests at Home Depots, car washes, etc in the LA area.
Sources who have reviewed Judge Frimpong’s tentative decision tell us her order will block ICE and Border Patrol from relying on race, Spanish speaking, location, and type of work when making immigration arrests.
Additionally, DHS will be blocked from conducting stops of suspected illegal immigrants unless the agent has a reasonable suspicion that there is a violation of immigration law.
The ACLU and a handful of plaintiffs sued the Trump administration, alleging they were doing “deportation dragnets” in LA by making mass arrests that were based only on skin color and race.
The Trump administration DOJ denies this, saying all arrests are in accordance with the law and are based on the totality of the circumstances, including surveillance, intelligence, and locations where illegal immigrants are known to work or be hired.
Judge Frimpong said in court today that her tentative decision is not final, and she can change her mind at any moment. She expects to make her final ruling tomorrow.
But for now, this case is shaping up to be a loss for the Trump administration, which will undoubtedly appeal once it’s finalized.
This ruling will affect the Central District of California (7 SoCal counties).
The ACLU is expected to give a press conference here in downtown LA after today’s court hearing wraps up.

EXCLUSIVE: Early this morning in the Omaha, Nebraska area, ICE arrested a MS-13 kingpin who is wanted for five aggravated murders in El Salvador and is on the country’s most wanted fugitives list, multiple ICE officials tell @FoxNews. ICE also arrested a MS-13 associate he was living with, 30-year-old Rene Saul Escobar Ochoa, who is also wanted in El Salvador for allegedly giving orders to fellow gang members to commit multiple murders.
Both men are illegal aliens who had embedded themselves in the Omaha area. Fox is told the kingpin is not being identified due to the sensitivity of an ongoing investigation.
Video of both arrests provided courtesy of ICE.
Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons’ statement to FOX:
“When ICE agents move in to make an arrest, it is extremely important that the public not interfere. The misinformation, and sometimes blatant lies, being spread around the country could result in someone stepping into a federal operation and suddenly finding themselves face-to-face with a killer who has nothing to lose. Our ICE officers and agents are protecting your neighborhoods, even when you don’t know the threat is there, so either support them, or get out of the way.”

NEW: I just spoke to Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino @USBPChiefELC, who was the official on the phone with LA Mayor Karen Bass at MacArthur Park today. I asked him for his message to her, as she demands raids end?
“I don’t work for Karen Bass. Better get used to us now, cause this is going to be normal very soon. We will go anywhere, anytime we want in Los Angeles.”
