Two forks ago we didn't have cheap L2 txs. Two forks from now we will have
- perfect parallelization of execution
- orders of magnitude more gas limit.
- orders of magnitude more blobs.
- better censor resistance
It's a no brainer tradfi is trying to tap into Ethereum

UPDATE: 3 out of those 4 ETH bear funds blew up.
And the 4th one was charged with fraud by the SEC for taking the opposite positions from their bearish thesis.

What is the common point between those 4 funds?
They all had very public bearish ETH thesis.
Results ➡️ 2 of them blew up entirely, 1 got liquidated so bad they had to delete their 'Short ETH' analysis front the internet and the last one is currently down 80% YTD.

Proof of Stake is not onchain governance but it's easier to reheat 7 year old FUD for engagement than to spend 10mn learning about it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but...
If enough eth validators were owned by public ethereum treasury companies (~20% of total eth supply), you could 51% attack the public equities (ie take majority control, many ways to achieve that via capital markets)- and you'd have governance control over ethereum. In other words securities law would become eth's consensus mechanism.

They still have their 10 year old view that Proof of Stake is onchain governance when there is no onchain governance Ethereum.
Deliberate ignorance and old FUD because ETH is not as dead as they thought.

Alt-L1 Maxis fudding ETH being progressively replaced by BTC Maxis fudding ETH.
As the former understand they are not really competing with Ethereum, the latter will start to feel the heat & reuse old FUD.
