Here's a non-technical reason I like Zcash. The early adopters (the people using it today) want it to win, and they are overwhelmingly positive in how they convey that vision. That is also why, in part, you see it being integrated in so many places so quickly, and why an asset that was previously somewhat isolated from the rest of the crypto world is rapidly connecting to the rest of the ecosystem, making it increasingly simple for new participants to join, learn about it, and in turn onboard their own family and friends. Zcash is opening far more doors (the castle gates) than it is closing. And from a purely game theoretical perspective, it is much easier to change things once you are inside the gates than if you are locked out outside of them.
