This exceeds the previous high of $152.8 billion hit in the first half of 2021, at the peak of the meme stock frenzy. As a result, average daily inflows reached ~$1.3 BILLION, up 21.6% YoY. Nvidia, $NVDA, Tesla, $TSLA, and Palantir, $PLTR, were the most actively traded stocks during this time. The average retail portfolio gained +6.2% over this period. Meanwhile, total retail trading volume hit a whopping $6.6 TRILLION, according to Nasdaq data. Retail investors have become a major force in this market.
