Japanese Upper House Election Trading - Recall, Japan is on holiday tomorrow, and there is some talk that Typhoon Wipha could impact HK as well, which may also see liquidity thin out thru Asia.... So Osaka (OSE) JGB and NKY futures will be closed.... and as such we will have to view the moves thru the SGX futures, which both typically see far less daily notional than the OSE futs- CME NKY futs see even lower daily notional .. The JPY will still trade obvs, but liquidity will be thin and could result in more exacerbated moves depending on how low the seats the LDP coalition get.... Wouldnt surprise if traders traded any fallout through gilt futures (although dont open until 5pm AEST), German Buxls, or in equity, SPX futs...given the LT correlations with these market
