ChatGPT has passed Google in user engagement. They're averaging 14 requests / user / day... Versus fewer than 7 requests / user / day on Google 🤯
This is based on a 180M DAU count for ChatGPT, as well as 14B searches per day for Google. Per @SensorTower, Google has 2B DAUs on the core app on mobile alone
This may seem obvious (“of course ChatGPT is more engaged - users are having full convos”) But IMO, this underscores the severity of the threat to Google as their motion is to send users “out” If the start of a search moves from Google ➡️ ChatGPT, it’s hard to get it back.
