# Scene 1 *Welcome to the world, a place of wonder and glorious adventure. ✭ begins here, but he’s far from his beginning. It’s a frosty morning, snow crust crackles beneath his feet as he discovers new ground. There will be much to find and many choices to make. A cool breeze casts flakes across his cheeks and through the tears in his clothes. As he contemplates small ruins consumed by nature, his jaw rises and falls with a desire to wet his dry throat. He curls a cupped hand through a nearby drift, collecting snow. Down it goes… Nom!
