Binance are very scared of Hyperliquid. Had a conversation with a guy close to Binance C-level manager: they’re alarmed of Hyperliquid’s speedy market share growth. In the coming months they are going to promote their perp DEX - @Aster_DEX even harder (which is actually not decentralized at all), fake stats (e.g inflate Aster’s trading volume) and run anti-Hyperliquid CT campaign (FUD). The war has started, crypto has lost decentralized stablecoins, we shouldn’t lose DEX. Bet on Hyperliquid is the bet on true crypto. Hyperliquid.

Aster is NOT L2 nor a L1 blockchain, it is a 100% CEX. just imagine if CEX used WalletConnect for sign-ups instead of email or other web2 stuff, that's Aster. unlike Hyperliquid, Aster has no validators, consensus, blocks, explorers, or anything related to the blockchain tech. they claim to be a DEX, but that’s misleading. deposits are handled through smart contracts across several chains, and sign‑ins use crypto wallet via ERC‑4361 signature, just like on Axiom or Polymarket. but NOTHING else is executed onchain. every trade happens on their Web2 server, somewhere in CZ's basement. usage of smart contracts is only limited to deposits to their CEX. execution doesn’t rely on smart contracts or decentralized infrastructure AT ALL. their own documentation even admits the blockchain isn’t live yet and is still “coming soon.” good luck trading on Binance's pet CEX.
