🔷Big news: I’m joining the team at @pyloncapital
Truly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside @0xDith and @haitzuCrypto, two people I deeply respect and from whom I know I’ll learn A LOT.
After spending the last year inside some of the best communities in web3, one thing became crystal clear:
- Projects need communities. Communities need champions. Champions need leaders.
The reason many projects struggle with their token, their users, or their ecosystem is simple: the above flywheel is weak… or worse, non-existent.
These projects are undervalued most of the times, but that’s where the opportunity lies. It’s early for them.
🔹Founders are leaders, the starting point of any great story, and therefore, any great community.
- And I have seen two big problems here, founders not talking about their product or founders having multiple narratives that confuse the user or fail to stick.
Founders share their vision, but they need a sharp, compelling narrative. One story at a time. Simple. Clear. Strong. That’s what draws people in. That’s what builds belief. The founder funnel is a MUST for any project.
🔹Strong leaders create champions. Champions spread the word and help grow the ecosystem, adopt the culture, the memes... They are top creators and true believers.
- And I’ve also seen problems here. Champions burned out by rigid rules or trapped in ineffective incentives, becoming mercenaries chasing the next shiny treasure.
The solution starts with transparency, empathy, and communication. You have to understand what the project wants and what the champion wants. It only works when both are aligned.
🔹Champions create communities. The community is the center of any flywheel you’ve imagined for your project. Because at the end of the day, no matter how good your product is... it won’t survive alone. Community is everything, without it, you’re nothing.
- And there are problems here too. There are projects that don’t know how to sharpen the axe, even though the community is the most powerful weapon there is.
The community expects to be rewarded constantly, in any form, and that’s how it should be. If the community wins, the project wins. They are the loudest amplifier and the force that keeps the flywheel spinning. The more the community wins, the more people will want to be part of it.
TLDR. That’s what @pyloncapital is here for:
- Help founders tell their story, win attention and shape their champions
- Help champions & projects build their community
We do whatever it takes.
Excited for what’s ahead. LFG.
