"don't trust, verify" started off in bitcoin and cypherpunk circles, mostly referring to decentralized finance, but I think that as time goes on, that way of thinking will extend not just to money but to people and social platforms as well

there's really no good way to bet on this publicly, but it's so obvious that people will increasingly want spaces where they know the people they are interacting with online are human many products will need to be built to solve the problem of not knowing who is bot or human
