if you are extremely smart you'll often get startup offers while still being in school problem is literally anything can be made to sound like the uniquely best deal & most high potential idea when you have never done real work, so a lot of people waste on a few years
at least when i was 18 you could convince me of anything (partly because i barely knew what a startup was and grew up in a forest in sweden)
the right thing to do here is to good people you trust to get you feedback on companies + actually talk to a bunch of startups. also joining someone who made a huge exit before is a good signal, never join some super early stage young first time founder type shi
