This is silly. Ms. Rachel is worth many millions. She has more money than most can fathom. The trend of ultra-wealthy celebs pretending to reject extreme wealth is performative virtue signaling. You’re not one of the little guys because you “only” have several million dollars.

A lot of people arbitrarily decided that billionaires are the root of all evil. That never made sense. For one, many billionaires got rich by solving problems & improving lives. For two, you don't get to decry the wickedness of wealth from your megamansion.
