Snapped this after interviewing @realyanxin for my Professionally Curious 🧠: 100 Most Insightful Founders podcast. Hot take 🌶️: We’ve been building Crypto for over 10 years (10 years is a lifetime in any other industry but it feels like all we did was rotating from Ethereum to Solana)—we need to overcome our crypto-native biases and American biases and incorporate use cases in the majority of countries (i.e. middle-income)—ID, credit scores, UBI rails—under the mission of a borderless global digital nation. At SOON, we’ve built high-performance infra - but it’s only a means to an end—the goal has ALWAYS BEEN user adoption. Every successful infra project shares one commonality: the line is blurred between an infra and an app. That’s why we’ve launched our first-party copy-trading app at $SOON’s TGE, to lower the barrier to web2 onboarding. So much to learn from @ethsign—how they align community and mission. True digital network-state energy. In Crypto, we often say we’re here to build fast, yes, but let’s also build to last.

I've seen some chatter about the leaderboard and concerns around farming. Want to say something from the bottom of my heart: 🧡 Orange is meant to give, not hoard. The whole point of “gib me orange” is so we can share more with the community. There’s nothing to farm—support is the currency here. 😭 Yes, there will be incentives. But it won’t just be about how many oranges you have. This isn’t about grinding—it’s about growing together. We spotted some cheating during testing (which is good!), so we can fix it and improve. In the next version, you’ll see a new kind of leaderboard: “The Givers.” Because generosity and support are what Orange Dynasty is really about. 🧡 The app is in testing for a reason—we’re iterating fast.
