In 2020 I got an early look for some company named Applovin. The term loan whispers were pretty solid; the coupon was wide of the market and it was offered significantly below par. Went to the management meeting, and really liked mgmt. + the vision. Tried pitching it to my PMs for the next week. No one in the loan market wanted to touch it. It was a weird mobile biz that generated money from ads and mobile games. It eventually came pretty wide to market. I continued following the co. loosely and when it eventually IPOd, I bought a small piece and it did nothing for a year or two so I sold for a loss before it eventually ripped 25x+ off the lows.

Going back to the basics after spending too much time and money on launchpads + ecosystem the last 5-6 weeks. Metaplex reminds of the Syrup set-up from a few months back (still in Syrup). Think this continues to grind up.

I was wrong on this. Expected a modicum of disclosure / an ounce of comms within 10 days of the ICO given the amount raised. The bar was real, real low and the team somehow didn't even manage to meet it. To be clear, think it'll be a long as soon as team provides any clarity.
