something happened at xrp las vegas.

over the past 24 hours. my emails have been absolutely filled. with people wanting to join us. all ready to leave their jobs at the biggest institutions and companies in the world. wild. they can feel it.

a thiel fellow just applied to work @EasyA_Labs. a THIEL FELLOW. these are people selected for their potential to build 100-billion-dollar startups. like. vitalik buterin is a thiel fellow. and now they wanna work at EasyA? this is so bullish i can’t even…

just hired the lead engineer for @EasyA_Labs. he’s been following our journey at EasyA since the early days. even after being recruited by one of the world’s most prestigious asset managers. but recently he got so excited about what we’re building. that he just couldn’t watch on any longer. 2 months ago he sent us an email with his cv. we hopped on a call. and after a series of interviews and meetings. we made him the offer. totally epic. he’ll be handing in his notice on monday.

yesterday robinhood announced it’s tokenising stocks. this is so exciting. i could barely sleep last night. not because of the public market stocks. but because of what robinhood’s ceo vlad had in his briefcase. tokenised stocks of PRIVATE companies. we’re not just bringing existing tradfi onchain. we’re actually opening up new opportunities for the everyday person. the companies vlad mentioned on stage? openai and spacex. the two most valuable private companies in the world. previously having a stake in their success was only available to a small set of venture capitalists and institutions. but now they will be open to normal people too. i see this cascading across the private markets. opportunities once only available to a select few. will become open to all. crypto’s promise is coming true.
