this comes up every summer and i think it's because people believe linen is some magical cooling fiber. in fact, much depends on the fabric weight and weave. a 14oz tropical wool will wear cooler than a densely woven linen in the same weight pic 1: tropical wool pic 2: linen

Many women dress for themselves or their peers, not necessarily for male approval. This shouldn't be hard to understand bc you wore a Crocodile Dundee hat with Terminator glasses and a "Send Noods" t-shirt for yourself and your male peers, even though it repels women.
