We're working on the whitepaper. Hopefully we will be able to publish it next week. This will work on top of @alignedlayer @ethrex_client rollup as a service. The engineering will be done by @class_lambda and the game theory and token design by @PolFinance_. We will also add some interesting zkTLS and ZK sauce to what we are building.
We're also inviting two big parties to the table to help us design and distribute this new great primitive for DeFi.

There’s still quite a bit of work ahead, but progress is strong in the performance front. We’re already outperforming every client except for reth in every opcode (we still need to merge a few exploratory PRs to make it faster than nethermind in transfers).
In addition to ongoing performance improvements, we need to enhance the p2p crates and revisit our concurrency model. We should have all this merged in the upcoming month.
We’re getting very close to delivering a new execution client for @ethereum that can also function as an L2 stack.
- Lean and modular codebase: Small, straightforward, avoids overengineering, minimal macros, traits, and crates for maximum clarity and performance.
- L2 mode: Supports multiple RISC-V provers, includes an early version of based sequencing, and more.

We are finishing the work on making snap sync performant in @ethrex_client. We got the block header download logic working, tested on Holesky, Sepolia, and @ethereum mainnet. It takes 5 to 8 min on mainnet (22M headers, 12GB in-memory). Geth takes aprox 20min (but writes to disk).
Next up: same infra for state/storage tries + move to spawned (our rust concurrency framework) tasks. Scoring of peers still to be done.
