Today, Task Force 1 recovered the body of a missing adult female lost in the flood. She was recovered in the Kerrville area. We are still missing one adult male and a little girl from Camp Mystic. Our search continues.

Property taxes are on the special session agenda beginning tomorrow: - Legislation to cut property taxes. - Legislation to limit spending by government entities that impose property taxes.

Texas awarded over $1.9 million to hospitals in Kerrville and Llano impacted by the devastating flooding. These emergency funds will help repair damage, provide staffing support, and keep critical services running. Texas stands with our healthcare workers on the front lines.

President Trump approved my request to add Burnet, Llano, Mason, McCulloch, and Tom Green counties to his Major Disaster Declaration. 10 counties are now eligible for critical financial assistance. More can be added later. We will help every impacted community rebuild.

The State is making rescues in— San Saba Co. Lampasas Co. & Schleicher Co. Evacuations are taking place in Lampasas Co. Menard Co. Kimble Co. & Sutton Co. We are expanding operations in all affected counties— all while monitoring the rising waters in Kerrville.

Texas Task Force One and Texas Parks & Wildlife are making swift water rescues in Lampasas County. We continue to monitor all counties with a focus on saving lives.
