This is a good reminder that protocols live for many years can still get hit by an exploit—even protocols that go through multiple audits and offer large bug bounties for responsible disclosures (GMX has a $5M bounty for critical severity disclosures on Immunefi) Sad to see GMX v1 suffer such a large exploit. Wishing the GMX team well in their war room, and I'm glad GMX v2 is unaffected.

GMX exploit happens. Nexus team receives notifications. Works out potential max liability is ~40 ETH. All within 30 minutes. Onchain transparency showing its strength.
