The One Big Beautiful Bill secured a major victory by making Opportunity Zones permanent and the American Dream attainable for more Americans. By offering a hand up, not a handout, OZs are already driving real results: jobs, investment, and revitalized communities. I was proud to present Shay from my team with a copy of the OZ provision in the OBBB, as a special thank you for his tireless work in helping make this vision a reality.

The @USDOT has awarded a nearly $25 million grant for the expansion of U.S. Highway 78 in Dorchester County, an investment that I advocated for to address safety concerns and congestions levels along the corridor. U.S. 78 has been a transportation priority for South Carolina for years, and I look forward to seeing the development of this project that will improve safety for residents and overall corridor efficiency.

American taxpayers should have a fair tax system that protects their rights - not one that punishes them without oversight.
