The eagle has landed. For years, I tried everything to take control over my drinking: AA, therapy, Smart Recovery, Moderation Management, yoga, cleanses, CBT, CBD, moving to new cities and states. Long term, nothing worked. But then I stumbled across a treatment I’d never heard of before, one that didn’t require meetings or detox or even abstinence. In fact, it required that I continue to drink. I know this sounds crazy, but it worked, and when I was doing this treatment, what I wanted was a guide. A book that would tell me what to do, how it worked, and what to expect on Day 1, Month 1, Year 1, etc. That book didn’t exist, so I wrote it.
My hope is that this book finds its way to everyone who has told themself that today will be different, only to find that it’s not.
Out Sept 30th. Pre-order here:
David Klion didn't bother to actually reach out to anyone who signed the Harper's Letter before denouncing our alleged hypocrisy. If I had reached out to me, I would have sent him the 10 or so podcasts in which I've discussed Trump's assault on free speech. Instead he relied on a bullshit spreadsheet compiled by people who also did not bother to reach out or do even basic research. It's clowns all the way down.
From this headline you might have expected some effort to quantify how many of the signatories of the Harper’s letter have in fact been silent in the face of Donald Trump’s assaults on free speech. But it’s not in there.
