To followup on the news article released earlier this week, the @Ambient_xyz team is proud to announce the completion of our combined $7.3mil fundraise led by @a16zcrypto CSX, @Delphi_Ventures, and @AmberGroup_io.
Ambient is an AI-infused L1, relying upon its novel Proof of Logits mechanism to power a single massive model (600B+ params). Miners run inference and earn both fees and rewards for their compute, thus making it a potential replacement to Bitcoin. With its new consensus mechanism, Ambient can verify that untrusted miners are actually running the model—at just 0.1% overhead. With this breakthrough proof model, it unlocks a new level of trust in the high-stakes fields of finance, defense, law, health, and robotics.
