This is one of the most interesting problem spaces to me. Despite (1) the shifting information landscape / increased information accessibility and (2) large models trained on the entirety of human knowledge, the ability to discern 'ground truth' in many regions around the world is still limited by the capacity to collect and maintain high quality data. Successful situation monitoring requires starting with quality data.
