the big unsolved problem today in data availability (DA) is how to incentivize read nodes for data to be considered "available" users need to be able to read it DA providers on @WalrusProtocol and @celestia receive no incentive for providing the data to users. in fact DA providers pay per GB of data egress @shelbyserves solve this problem by encrypting the data and requiring users to pay for reads this primitive gives DA providers an incentive to make their data highly-available without relying on a off-chain solutions like a grant program
