BREAKING: The Provers are Coming Online. Stage 2.5 is here.

2/ In our whitepaper, we set out to build a prover network that is capable of proving the world’s software. This is not a solo task. It’ll require onboarding the best node operators, datacenters, and hardware teams from around the world.

3/ Achieving this vision required us to innovate on several fronts. We’ve built: – A competitive auction mechanism for provers to compete on cost. – A Sybil resistant staking mechanism to secure provers. – A performant, verifiable settlement layer specially designed for proofs. We’ve implemented this system end-to-end and it’s ready for the provers.

4/ Today’s release contains an example prover implementation allowing anyone to participate in proof contests. We’ve been onboarding the best hardware teams and our most loyal community members as provers. Massive prover diversity is coming.

5/ We dropped testnet PROVE in your wallets yesterday. Team up with your favorite provers and stake with them at

6/ Throughout the testnet, we’ve built a community, by proving Ethereum, playing ZK games, and participating in proof contests. Stage 2.5 marks the end of “Greatest Testnet of All Time”. 25,000+ provers, 6 months, and a hell of a ride.

7/ Today marks a new milestone on our network roadmap as we inch closer to mainnet. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be onboarding prover teams and battletesting the network. Stay tuned!
