From the very beginning, GVC has always been a movement of authentic connection. To witness the seeds of this begin to sprout and take form IRL this past week was a deeply moving experience. I believe that creating something truly worthwhile requires an enormous amount of effort from a lot of passionate people. This is the true power of community. I could not be more grateful to have seen this on full display with our incredibly talented team, our amazing community, and even my own family. Every single person went above and beyond to cultivate a space that values quality, inclusivity, and authenticity. Championing both digital art and the connection it creates between each of us. And man, it was extremely special to finally see that vision begin to take form. A special thank you to the homies @SuperRare for always championing the vibes and the digital art movement as a whole. All of the great IPs are not just super widely known; they’re also deeply cherished. There’s a sense of attachment there that is driven by something beyond simply an instant recognizability & relatability. That is what I believe the difference will be in the next evolution of entertainment; All of the best parts of the great IPs of the past, supercharged by much greater interactivity and ownership that’s fueled by an entirely new definition of “community.” This is only the beginning.
