This Week at Gigaverse (Juice Week 8) 💾 Floor Prices for ROMs: 0.11 ETH ❗Snapshot Time Changes❗ The snapshot time for Gigaverse activity (used to distribute @AbstractChain XP) was changed again this week. Since there are quite a few nuances here, let me walk you through it clearly: June 27, 12 PM UTC A snapshot of Gigaverse activity was taken. At the same time, a new way to earn Abstract XP was introduced: Stubs (more on that below). Players began burning in-game items to receive Stubs. July 1 Abstract XP will be distributed for Gigaverse activities that occurred before June 27, 12 PM UTC. July 4, 12 PM UTC A new snapshot will be taken, including both Gigaverse activity and accumulated Stubs. July 8 Abstract XP will be distributed for Gigaverse activity between June 27 and July 4, 12 PM UTC, including bonus XP for Stubs collected during that period. ...And the cycle continues. I'm preemptively addressing what I expect to be a wave of “I BURNED MY ENTIRE INVENTORY and got less XP than last week!!!1” comments under Dith and @0xCygaar posts next week 🙂 🎮Game Updates The Stubs System Is Live! Big thanks to @Violacrypto_ for yet another clear and helpful infographic! Important Notes: ・Every Friday, Stubs collected throughout the week are burned and converted to Abstract XP. This is not a 1:1 conversion and the values may change over time. ・Juiced players receive 4x Stubs when trading. ・Purchasing Juice from the store grants a one-time Stubs bonus. This bonus may be removed or adjusted in future weeks - DYOR! ・ROM holders receive a weekly automatic Stub bonus - no action needed, no claim required. It’s fully automated. 💾ROM Updates Thanks to @MetaPassionNFT for updating the current list of bonuses for ROM holders! Here’s an important clarification we got this week: Previously: Holding ROM NFTs but not playing the game = still earned Abstract XP. That XP came from Abstract’s own pool, based on the value of valuable system NFTs - not from @playgigaverse pool itself. Now: Holding ROM NFTs but not playing = you’ll continue to receive XP from Abstract’s pool, plus earn XP from Gigaverse’s pool via the new Stub system. @0xDith confirmed several times: based on their new model, NFT holders will now earn more rewards overall. Great news! 🎣Fishing Updates You can still check out my fishing guide from last week - nothing has changed, all info is in actual state. ・Fishing Skills Progress Reset Your fishing skill progress has been reset, giving everyone a chance to rethink their upgrade strategy. ・Caution: Upon reaching level 5 in fishing skills, harder-to-catch fish will begin appearing (2-star mastery).
