249 years ago, our Founding Fathers laid the foundation for our democratic republic, establishing a first of its kind country that cherishes freedom and liberty for all Americans. They sought to create a government that was limited in size and power – a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.   As we gather with friends and family to celebrate this Independence Day, let us remember the sacrifices of those, past and present, who defend our God-given freedoms enshrined in our Constitution, and re-commit ourselves to upholding the foundational principles that make America great!
