Reality is, as we’ve seen with Robinhood and every other corporate who’s entered the space, they don’t want nor are they served by having a general purpose chain as their execution environment if they expect to do more then just issue assets. This has been obvious for awhile despite the desire to kid ourselves that general purpose chains serve the needs of regulated businesses. Expect we’ll continue to see more of this.
