During the weekend I finished building a little app I call "zkLabeler" (). It's a zkTLS powered labeler for BlueSky. It's a cool application of zkTLS, and a fun learning experience of BlueSky's take on decentralization.

What are labels? @bluesky supports decentralized labeling, which means anyone can spin up a "labeler" to annotate contents or accounts. You will see labels from labelers you follow. The goal is to leave subjective decisions (e.g., moderation and labeling) to an open community.
What is zkLabeler? zkTLS can do a lot for labeling. zkLabeler right does one thing: it fetches your Twitter follower count using @reclaimprotocol , and issue a label (>100, >1k, >10k, etc) and add it to your BlueSky DID. A form of social reputation bootstrap.

This demo is is honestly underselling the power of zkTLS. It can be any private data that zkTLS can prove. E.g., how about a label based on your Google map travel history? Reclaim's provider ecosystem hides most of the cryptographic complexity from dev.
My 2c is that decentralization of trust doesn’t have to mean running everything on blockchains or decentralized consensus systems. Instead, openness of the system — through verifiable computation, public interfaces, or permissionless participation — is a powerful approach too.
You are welcome to try the app -- the standard provisos for an academia prototype apply. I recorded a little demo too.
