Institutions are required to offer privacy: Federal privacy laws legally require banks, healthcare providers, and governments to offer privacy. It’s not optional. For this reason public blockchain networks haven’t even been an option for their businesses.

eERCs allow these businesses to adopt blockchain tech. Encrypted ERC‑20 or eERCs on Avalanche use zero‑knowledge proofs + homomorphic encryption to hide balances & amounts on‑chain. Only authorized parties can decrypt.
