The basic way to understand Maria Salazar's amnesty bill is this: If you came in to the country before Biden was inaugurated, you get to stay. If you were under 18 when you came into the country, for whatever reason - you get a 4-year path to citizenship. If you were over 18, you get what is effectively permanent residency with no path to citizenship, and you don't have to pay payroll taxes. Not joking. The only deportable aliens will be criminal aliens and aliens that came in under Biden. Everyone else gets to stay.
