The first preconfirmers are trusted infrastructure partners (like @NethermindEth, @chainbound_, and @gattacahq) who have already tested and refined their clients on testnet. 2/

This approach allows the Taiko community to benefit from preconfirmations immediately, without disruption. Once everything is running smoothly, the whitelist system will be removed, and anyone will be able to run a preconfirmer. 3/

Transactions will feel nearly instant, users will receive confirmation within ~2 seconds, eliminating long wait times. This will enable responsive dApps like trading platforms, games, and real-time applications. A Web2-like experience on a fully decentralized rollup. 4/
