Sigh. I've been integrating #YubiKey now for develop stuff.
ykman: can operate on many keys, cannot sign
yubico-piv-tool: can sign, uses the first key it finds
I'm really having second thoughts about @Yubico here, why is everything half-assed?!

Fuck my life, a #YubiHSM can:
- Attest asymmetric keys
- Generate asymmetric wrap keys
- CANNOT attest asymmetric wrap keys
I.e. when you're trying to back up your HSM to another HSM, it's cryptographically impossible to prove that it will be encrypted to the HSM you intend to.
@Yubico My use case isn't that complicated: sign X with Yubikey having serial S... that's it.
I've had one of my keys reset because it was prompting a different serial one and I entered my PIN wrong too many times. Only because it's not possible to know what you're talking to.
@Yubico Ok, I figured out the administrative issue behind this shitshow: most of the @Yubico OSS stuff is C (yubico-piv-tool, yubihsm-shell) and they seem not want to maintain it anymore. So they are reimplementing everything in Python (ykman, ython-yubihsm), except it takes time.
@Yubico So now we're in a place where the C stuff cannot keep up with the Python features, but the Python only has a subset of the C features. So we're stuck in a world where we have 2 half-assed interfaces for everything instead of 1 solid one. Ugh...
