☹️ ONE CLICK, $100K GONE A crypto user paid 31 $ETH ($100K+) in gas fees due to a "buggy wallet" that sent their transaction on Ethereum instead of PulseChain. They sent an on-chain message to the block builder pleading for a refund: "It's a huge amount of money to me"... 🧵
The costly mistake happened because both Ethereum and PulseChain use the Ethereum Virtual Machine, making transactions valid on both networks. But gas fees are paid in $PLS (worth fractions of a cent) on PulseChain vs $ETH ($3,650) on Ethereum.
@whale_alert spotted the transaction and the user's desperate onchain message to TitanBuilder became public on Etherscan. @Coinbase's @jconorgrogan called for the block builder to "earn some good karma" by returning the funds to the unlucky user.
