Easy Voice Recorder Pro needs a Whisper/Parakeet transcription add-on. This is the only app that reliably records voice for me, without losing data upon crash, bad connection, screen off, phone call interrupt, etc. ChatGPT and other apps lose voice recordings ALL THE TIME.

So the result is that I have to record in one app, and then pass into a transcription tool (upload recording -> remote Whisper). Way too many steps. Google Recorder also loses recordings way, way too often. Is this a joke?
