🌶️ the Dead Internet Theory is real but temporary - once the world shifts to accepting truth determined by machines rather than human consensus then it becomes alive again (and likely considered by many to be more alive - i.e. more "correct" than it ever was in the past)

I firmly believe that Dead Internet Theory is not only real but actually far worse than any of us can even comprehend
we're in a volume-shift right now where previously we were able to filter info ourselves, that's impossible now so we will have to replace our human filters with machine filters, once we do that we start seeing the green shoots again - only they're different and exciting
they're different because they uncover insights and patterns that we hadn't detected before and through sheer volume, do it faster than we did as humans before some will love this, some will hate it, and some will exist in a state of ambivalent ambiguity
there will be entire religions and churches dedicated to rejecting or embracing machine truth / consensus, similar to objectivist vs relativist divides right now we'll probably shard our lives more sharply down digital / physical divides, with health advice to balance both
some will go too far digital, losing their physical connections and existing in what the other side refer to as "fantasy worlds" others will go too far physical, losing touch with "current knowledge" and existing in what the other side refer to as "primitive existence"
