Last year when my friend came back from a trip to Italy, he got me and our small gc each a VERY nice bottle of wine. Old vintage, famous vineyard - stuff I don’t quite understand Out of the three who received a bottle 1. I drank mine with the group and we had a great time at nice steak dinner 2. Another just kept it in his cellar - he appreciates it as a present 3. But the last guy looked up the resale price and decided to sell it online the moment he got it. He then loudly bragged to us about how much he got on the marketplace for it This year another one of the group traveled to France. But he only brought back 2 bottles. The guy who sold the gift complained about not getting one but at this point we rarely talk to him anymore.
