I've been thinking hard about the "tradwife isn't real" debate and I've landed here: I want young women to feel ok saying their great aspiration in life it to be a wife and mother. I want my girls to feel ok if the big thing they want to do is get married and raise a family.

@LadyDemosthenes It's kind of a fight over definitions, which is why it's incredible unhelpful when Claire says "tradwives aren't real" and then proceeds to describe a stay-at-home mom

@clairlemon @LadyDemosthenes Perhaps you wish to retreat on your statement and say "actually, I'm only talking about rich women on Instagram. Obviously, plenty of women stay home even through economic difficulty b/c they believe that is best for their kids" That we could agree on
