a lot of traumatized people sell at virtual breakeven after holding for years in some cases this is a strategy they set during the worst of the bear they bought much higher and it went far lower than they thought possible. they are glad to get a chance to sell again without a loss, so they sell at breakeven unfortunately, these people have mental breakdowns if/when the asset breaks though an all time high and then goes multiples it is what it is
