Opinion: L2s should be decentralized. *Decentralization matters on L2 just as much as it does on L1.* Starknet published its decentralization roadmap a while ago, and it’s been following it, step by step. I don't see any other L2 team with real plans or work in that direction.

Just look at the strength of Bitcoin and Ethereum - it comes from the fact that they don’t rely on any single entity. That’s what provides users with real security + censorship resistance + freedom. Can an L2 that isn’t decentralized offer that?
