A combination of timing and good picks helped with this. Additionally a lot also happened in those years. Including things that made me lose and rebuilt it all. But the story remains true to this day. I started with $1000 exactly 8 years. And what I probably consider the craziest part? I wished I would make $5000 with it. That sounded a really generous amount of ROI. Making $5k with $1k sounded really nice.
